My wife and I have been attempting to help an incredibly nice young lady from Ukraine. Her name is Hanna, and she is a hard-working and extremely nice person. Hanna was facing an uphill battle to extend the duration of her residence in the United States. I had accompanied her to the U.S. Immigration Office for an interview to remove the conditions of her residence and extend the time limit of her Green Card. I was not allowed to be present in the room for her interview, but after an hour had passed, she came out of the interview in a rather shaken state. She was told that she would eventually receive a letter with a decision on whether she would be able to remain in the United states. Several weeks passed, and the letter eventually arrived. The Immigration Office turned down her request to extend her time in the United States. Their explanation contained many false accusations about Hanna, and I knew that she would have to hire a law firm in order to fight the decision of the U.S. Immigration Office.
I immediately began looking for an attorney to help Hanna with her fight to remain in the United States. After doing some research to find a great law firm, I decided to contact the Chan Law Firm. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. From day one the Chan Law Firm was supportive, helpful, empathetic, and extremely compassionate and friendly. Everyone Hanna and I encountered was absolutely wonderful. Catherine Chan and Daisy Dorado handled Hanna’s case, and they immediately went to work fighting for Hanna. Through their amazing effort they were able to get the USCIS to reverse the earlier decision to deny Hanna the ability to remain in the United States. The USCIS approved Hanna’s request to remove the conditions on her resident status. Hanna will now be receiving a new Green Card which allows her to remain in the United States.

Me and my Wife were with a law firm and decided that they weren’t working anymore. We set up 4 appointments with 4 different immigration lawyers all from the Denver metro area. We called made an appoitment and were assigned Josh Russcol, with a $100 consultation fee that would be credited to your case if you choose to do buisness with them. What I liked is that every question we had was answered even if the answer wasnt good.
We left after the consultation same day and instead of Josh waiting for us to come back and sign with them he gave us a call and went into further detail of what our case would look like. Because of this act we were there signing up for a payment plan a month later.
We submitted paperwork, got the interview and achieved what we wanted in our case. Through this process the payments were affordable, the staff was ALWAYS professional, the paralegals we worked with Aranely & Vivian got back to every email, and call within 24 hours. The whole Chan law firm team made this stressful process a little bit easier.
At the end of the day you can have the best lawyer, cross your t’s and dot your i’s and a case still not go your way; and at the very same time I would want Josh and his team of people behind me.

Today is 6/26/2023: I just finished my i-751interview (which was filed by Chan Law Firm team way back in 2019) and N-400 interview (I filed personally as advised by Ms. Chan last Jan. 2023) at the same time and the conditions of my i-751 was lifted and passed both my interview. Not only that, but I also got sworn by the officer in the same room after she conducted the interview. I am now a one proud US citizen!! 🙂 🙂
But this success had a rough backstory: I first came up with Ms. Catherine Chan way back in 2019. Every time I talked to her, she would listen attentively to me and was very passionate about my case. She encouraged me and stayed positive all through out. I had complicated issues with my ex, including stripping me off of my immigration rights and reporting me of fraudulent activities that I had never done. Catherine worked with my divorce attorney and even APPEARED in the court during the trial to be my Expert Witness. She was also very transparent about the course of my case and made plans and suggestions along the way. As soon as I got my citizenship interview appointment (which I filed on my own), I reached out to her team because of my pending i-751. We had a meeting prior from the interview to prepare me and she did not send me to the Immigration office by myself. I met Josh, who is so amazing to represent me in my interview today (06/26/2023). The officer mentioned that because of the detailed documents/files we supplied when they requested for more proof, and that she read through it, she verbally said that she “already knew”. So, I wasn’t really asked so many questions. This team has set me up for success and I absolutely recommend them for anyone who has complicated cases.
